The Latin word terragena means "born of the earth." Chris, the proprietor and winemaker of Terragena Vineyards, believes that good wine is just that; it honors and highlights the characteristics of the terroir. Chris currently makes wines from grapes grown at several small vineyards in Northern California. The off-grid vineyard is located on a beautiful hillside overlooking the Eel River Valley.
