MEET DR. CHRIS HARTLEY:
Dr. Chris Hartley has served as the Humboldt County Superintendent of Schools since 2017, and has been serving as an educator in the area since 1993 - starting as a teacher for Eureka City Schools at Zoe Barnum High School. Entering administration for the Northern Humboldt Union High School District, he served various roles over the course of 24 years, including Principal for McKinleyville High School, founder of Six Rivers Charter High School and the district’s Superintendent. Hartley's foundational belief is that our collective leadership, resiliency and collaboration will build our capacity and success as a community, particularly during these challenging times.
