About Redwood Coast Chamber Foundation
The Redwood Coast Chamber Foundation (RCCF) fosters inclusive economic and community development for California’s North Coast. As a result of our work, local businesses, nonprofits, schools and community members have expanded access to educational experiences and programming designed to support regional economic growth and resilience.
RCCF was launched in 2023 and is an affiliate of the Greater Eureka Chamber of Commerce.
Programs
LEADERSHIP REDWOOD COAST
Leadership Redwood Coast (LRC) is a five-month regional leadership fellowship centered on empowering diverse individuals throughout Humboldt, Del Norte, and adjacent Tribal lands with the tools, connections, and insight they need to effect equitable and innovative change in their communities and across the region. With 30 cross-sector emerging and established leaders per cohort, LRC runs March through July annually. Created in collaboration with North Edge (formerly AEDC) and Illuminated Marketing, LRC became a program of RCCF in 2023.

WORKFORCE PARTNERSHIPS
RCCF is contracted with the Blue Lake Rancheria Department of Education to expand business and nonprofit engagement in the Modern Youth Internship Academies (MYIA). This initiative facilitates work-based learning opportunities, such as internships and job shadowing, for Native and other North Coast high school students, providing them with real-life work experience. RCCF serves as the hub for recruiting and training businesses and nonprofits to host high school students in partnership with other Chambers of Commerce in Humboldt and Del Norte Counties.
Cámara de Comercio Humboldt
Cámara de Comercio Humboldt is an emerging program of RCCF created at the request of Latinx business owners and community members. This membership-based program will support Latinx-owned/managed businesses and the community to expand economic opportunity, in collaboration with other organizations that offer business services and outreach.
FISCAL SPONSORSHIP FOR OTHER CHAMBERS OF COMMERCE
As 501c6 nonprofits, Chambers of Commerce are not eligible for most funding opportunities, thus are often limited in the services and programs they can offer. RCCF can serve as fiscal sponsor for programs that align with our mission and serve local communities in partnership with local Chambers across the North Coast.
