Greater Eureka Chamber opens expanded coworking space in Downtown Eureka

Ste 104 Meeting Room

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

May 20, 2025

After more than a year of design and planning, the Greater Eureka Chamber has unveiled a modern cowork space for business owners, entrepreneurs and community members. Both offices and workstations are available now.

Conveniently located in Downtown Eureka, the cowork space is within walking distance from Old Town shops, restaurants, and the California Welcome Center, making it the perfect place for visitors and residents alike to work. The remodel includes a six-person meeting room, a shared lobby, Class A dedicated office space, four hot desks (with a second-story view) and kitchenette access. Other amenities include strong WiFi, ethernet and complimentary coffee.

“The business community deserves a professional space where they can collaborate, be productive and build connections,” said Nancy Olson, CEO of the Greater Eureka Chamber. “This is a multi-purpose space for all types of workers: individuals who want to hunker down with a laptop, travelers who need a desk for the day, managers who want to conduct trainings — some people have even come in to use the space while their house was under construction or during a power outage. It really serves as an extension of the Chamber’s mission to support and uplift local business leaders.”

With an eye toward promoting Humboldt business, the Chamber has ensured even the art on the walls is by a Humboldt-based creator, Rob Hampson, and that the coffee is sourced from local favorite, Jitter Bean Coffee.

This space, located at 612 G Street, Suite 104 in Eureka, is an addition to the Greater Eureka Chamber’s existing cowork space at 612 G Street Suite 101, in Eureka, which has been open since 2019. The Chamber’s state-of-the-art 30-seat conference room has become a popular destination for hosting meetings, trainings and classes. It is equipped with an Aquos Smart Board for presentations and a Meeting Owl Camera, offering 360-degree views of the room during virtual meetings.

Meeting rooms are open to all, but Chamber members can get significant discounts on renting rooms or using the cowork space. To access the new offices in Suite 104, visitors will have to check in at the main office in Suite 101. The cowork space is available for use Monday-Friday 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
