The Redwood Coast Chamber Foundation (RCCF), an affiliate of the Greater Eureka Chamber, congratulates an esteemed group of community leaders on graduating from its five-month regional leadership program, Leadership Redwood Coast.

A master class on the unique issues we face as a region, Leadership Redwood Coast equips participating fellows from Humboldt, Del Norte, and Tribal Lands with the skills, relationships, and insights they need to effect innovative and equitable change in their work and communities.

“There were beautiful, challenging, and inspiring conversations as this group of 33 navigated through a wide array of content, such as local and regional economic drivers, education, AI, agriculture, healthcare, the arts, housing, and much more,” said program co-founder Nancy Olson, CEO of the Greater Eureka Chamber and Redwood Coast Chamber Foundation. “Tackling these complex topics while reflecting on your own leadership is not easy. Yet in the midst of it all, we learned more about what it takes to be a true leader for our shared community.”

This year’s dynamic cohort represents 23 businesses and organizations across the North Coast, including Cal Poly Humboldt, DHHS Public Health, Eureka Books, College of the Redwoods, Hyperion Humboldt Realty Inc, Del Norte Child Care Council, Potter Real Estate Group, Inc., Christina Anastasia Jewelry, Open Door Community Health Centers, Humboldt Premier Properties, Coast Central Credit Union, Redwood News, Omsberg & Preston, North Coast Growers' Association, Northern California Indian Development Council, Peaches & Pearls, Black Humboldt, Humboldt Family Service Center, Launch Coaching Lab, Blue Lake Rancheria, Providence, Sorrel Leaf Healing Center, and Tri County Independent Living.

More than 100 local leaders spoke with the LRC fellows this year. “We sincerely thank all of the local organizations and partners who offered their wisdom and expertise, helping bring this program to life,” Olson said.

The program graduates were honored during a ceremony at College of the Redwoods on Friday, July 24. Class speaker Madison Flynn, CEO of North Coast Indian Development Corporation, also shared remarks with attendees.

The Redwood Coast Chamber Foundation thanks Presenting Sponsor, Cal Poly Humboldt, Leader Sponsor Open Door Community Health, as well as more than 20 donors to the LRC scholarship fund, for their continued partnership.

Applications for Leadership Redwood Coast 2027 will open in the fall of 2026.

Leadership Redwood Coast (LRC), a dynamic five-month regional leadership fellowship, serves as a crucial platform for empowering diverse individuals throughout Humboldt, Del Norte and adjacent Tribal lands. Now in its fourth year, the LRC equips participants with the essential tools, connections, and insights needed to effect equitable and innovative change within their communities and across the region. The 2026 program ran from March through July.

Leadership Redwood Coast was launched in 2023 by North Edge, Nancy Olson, and Allie Jones from Illuminated Marketing. It is now housed under the Redwood Coast Chamber Foundation, a 501c3 dedicated to inclusive economic and community development for California’s North Coast.
